The Northeast Recruiting Report is a scouting service available to college coaches only. The report, which originated in 2006, initially covered only the New England region but has since expanded to include New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania while attracting subscribers from over 30 different athletic conferences at the division I, II, and III levels.
Our goals are to leave no scholarship level prospects left uncovered while also providing an early look at the underclassmen in the region. To that end, the 2012-2013 season was the sixth consecutive year that the service successfully identified every prospect from the region who went on to earn a full athletic scholarship, while including an equivalent amount of underclassmen.
Reports are formatted in four different styles:
1. Full Prospect Profiles – Includes rating, analysis of strengths/weaknesses, contact information, academic information & headshot (whenever possible) of uncommitted prospect. Click here for sample.
2. Event Recaps – Reports on one specific event by recapping and evaluating each individual prospect while also providing ratings and contact information (when provided by the event). Click here for sample.
3. Depth Charts/Master Lists – Meant to provide a complete overview of the prospects in the region, these lists will rank players by class and position while also providing shorter analysis. Click here for sample.
4. Evaluation Period Previews – Previews April & July evaluation periods with rosters & schedules for major AAU/grassroots teams in the region along with basic information & shorter analysis on every listed prospect. A similar formatted report will preview national prep schools prior to the September period in what many refer to as the "Prep School Bible". Click here for sample.
All subscribing institutions have their choice of three packages:
Platinum Subscription - $500
The Platinum Subscription is recommended for mid to high-major programs that are looking to access as much recruiting information as possible. It includes over 25 issues covering the northeast and prep school basketball around the country. The Platinum package includes: recaps from every major event we attend; depth charts in each of the four classes; a best available list in the spring; and previews of the April, July, and September evaluation periods.
Gold Subscription - $375
The Gold Subscription is recommended for mid to low-major programs that are looking for early and detailed coverage on the northeast region and prep school basketball around the country. The Gold package includes: depth charts in the junior and senior classes; a best available list in the spring; and the three evaluation period previews.
Basic Subscription - $200
The Basic Subscription is recommended for small college programs that want basic coverage of division I, II, and III level prospects in the northeast region. It includes depth charts of the senior class; a best available list in the spring; and two evaluation period previews.
In compliance with all NCAA regulations, the Northeast Recruiting Report:
Does not allow any institution to purchase more than one annual subscription;
Is made available to all institutions desiring to subscribe and at the same fee rate for all subscribers (see above);
Provides identical reports to every subscribing institution;
Publicly identifies all applicable rates (see above);
Disseminates information about prospective student-athletes at least ten times per calendar year;
Is not sold in exchange for any type of recruiting access to prospective student-athletes or as an inducement to influence a perspective student-athlete or any individual associated with a student-athlete;
Publicly identifies the geographical scope of the service as the northeast region as well as prep schools (schools with post-graduates) nationwide, and reflects broad-based coverage of both areas;
Provides analysis in the information it disseminates beyond demographical information or rankings by providing detailed evaluations, projected levels of play, academic information, and contact information;
Provides access to samples or previews of the information it disseminates prior to purchase of a subscription (see above);
Does not provide any video content.
