Ledo Lands Big Offer

Ricky Ledo's stock just keeps getting hotter as he picked up a scholarship offer from one of the nation's most prestigious basketball schools on Wednesday. 

Ricardo Ledo, who starred for Expressions Elite this summer and is set to attend St. Andrew's in the fall, was offered a scholarship by the University of Kansas on Wednesday. 

The Jayhawk coaching staff was a fixture at many of Expressions' games late last month in Orlando and had already offered a scholarship to Alex Murphy.

But today head coach Bill Self and his staff made it clear that they want both members of the tandem. 

Not only are Murphy and Ledo teammates on the travel circuit, but they are also both from the state of Rhode Island.

"I grew up in Rhode Island and I can tell you nothing like this has happened before, where a school like Kansas offers two Rhode Island kids as sophomores," said St. Andrew's head coach Mike Hart. 

Earlier this week Ledo was ranked the 13th best propsect in the national class of 2012 by ESPN.
