New England Recruiting Report

Freshman forward leaving Vermont and heading to St. Anselm's for next season.

Chris Santo, a six-foot-four forward who spent his freshman season at the University of Vermont, will be transferring to St. Anselm's College where he will have three years of eligibility beginning immediately next season.

Santo saw action in 14 games this year at Vermont but had an incredible high school career in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.  Santo averaged over 28 points per game in his senior season and scored 2,497 points during the course of his four year career.

He saw a steady dose of division I recruitment coming out of high school and was known as a powerful combo-forward who was an efficient scorer and high volume rebounder in the paint but also had some evolving perimeter skill.
