Canterbury School head coach passed away unexpectedly on Sunday night.

 
The entire New England community is mourning the passing of Don Gowan, the boys basketball coach and Associate Director of Admission at the Canterbury School.

He passed away Sunday evening and was discovered by faculty on Monday morning after he failed to report to work in the Admission Office. A memorial service will be held at Kent School on Monday, May 14th at 11:00AM with a reception following in the Don Gowan Court, named after Don's father.

Don was just 38 years old.
