Catamounts go to New Jersey to land forward.

The University of Vermont is making quick work of their 2011 recruiting class, already landing their second player of the summer.

Chris Santo, a six-foot-four 195 lbs combo-forward from Cherry Hill High School in New Jersey, committed to the Catamounts early Tuesday morning.

Santo's high school career has been nothing short of extraodinary thus far as he scored his 1000th point in his sophomore season and became his school's all-time leading scorer last year as a junior.

Although he was more of an undersized power forward earlier in his career he demonstrated a much improved perimeter skill set this summer while running with the Jersey Shore Warriors, who captured the title at the Hoop Group Summer Classic and advanced to the semi-finals at the West Virginia Jam Fest and the finals of the silver bracket at the AAU Super Showcase.

Santo joins Four McGlynn, a six-foot-one sharp-shooting guard from York, Pennsylvania, in Vermont's 2011 recruiting class.
