New England Recruiting Report

Kimball Union big man heading back to Texas to play division I basketball.

One program flying far under the radar heading into the Class B season is Kimball Union Academy in New Hampshire.  First year head coach Michael Olson has brought in a talented class of basketball players and recently produced his second division I commitment.

David Hahn, a seven-foot 245 pound center from Austin, Texas committed to Texas State earlier this week.  Hahn was also being recruited by Tulane as well as numerous other division II and III schools.

“David runs well, has good hands and is a superb passer,” said KUA coach Michael Olson.  “He is a project in many ways but has the physical tools.  He will benefit tremendously from the competition he will receive this year.  Texas State is very excited about his potential.”

Hahn becomes KUA’s second division I product in the class of 2010 joining point guard Leslie Smith who had previously committed to Lafayette.
