New England Recruiting Report
NYC product gives Terriers their 6th commitment for 2010 class.
While he still has yet to coach his first game on the Boston University sidelines, first year Terriers head coach Patrick Chambers continues to show results in recruiting as he and his staff earned their sixth verbal commitment of the 2010 class this weekend.
Malik Thomas, a six-foot-seven swingman from Wadleigh High School in New York, committed to Boston University on Saturday.
With his long frame Thomas has the size of the forward and the perimeter skills of a guard with his ability to attack off the dribble or shoot from the perimeter.
Thomas joins five Philadelphia products in BU’s incoming class: 6’5” small forward Travis Robinson; 6’8” power forward Dominic Morris; 6’8” center Anthony Mayo; 6’1” shooting guard Mike Terry; and 5’9” point guard Henry Gaskins.
