Rhode Island

Player of the Week – Billy Soriano, Mount Pleasant High School
The sophomore point guard had 26 points in the division I semi-final win over Cranston East 71-68.  More importantly, he came up with some heroics down the stretch including a steal on the final defensive possession of the game and 3 last minute free-throws. 

•  Frank Robinson, Mount Pleasant, 23 points in semi’s including go ahead jumper with 45 seconds left
•  Mike Juarez, Cranston East, 22 points & 4 three-pointers in loss to Mount Pleasant
•  Billy Baron, Bishop Hendricken, 24 points in semi-finals and 23 in quarters
•  Anjuwon Spence, Moses Brown, 24 points in semi-final win over North Smithfield
•  Ryan Pangborn, Mount St. Charles, 33 points in quarter-final loss to Central Falls
•  Matt Barboza, Bishop Hendricken, 20 points in quarter-final win

New Hampshire

Player of the Week – Jamie Zajac, Bishop Guertin High School
The senior point guard was doing it all for his Bishop Guertin team in their preliminary round win over Dover 81-67.  Zajac finished with 19 points, 11 assists, 9 rebounds, and 6 steals.  Earlier in the week Zajac had 10 points, 12 assists, and 6 rebounds in a win over Goffstown. 

•  Caleb Donnelly, Alvirne, 23 points in upset preliminary round win over Pinkerton
•  Brennan Donnelly, Alvirne, 16 points, 14 rebounds, 8 blocks, & 8 assists against Pinkerton
•  Justin Hojlo & Steve Spirou, Pelham, 20 points each in Class I semi-final win
•  Ryan Dubois, Winnacunnet, went length of the court for game winner over Exeter
•  Jake Nelson, Nashua South, 19 points including game winner over Pinkerton in prelims
•  Jasmin Handanovic, Milford, 19 points & 14 rebounds in quarter-final loss
•  Kiel Canada, Campbell, 25 points & 5 steals in win over Newport
•  Curtis Williams, Newmarket, scored 9 OT points (22 overall) in quarter-final win over Woodsville and 8 OT points (19 overall) in semi-final win over Groveton

Massachusetts

Player of the Week – Ryan Woumn, Lynn English High School
Woumn scored a career high 39 points in the MIAA division I semi-final win over previously unbeaten Brockton.  He went 18-22 from the free-throw line including a cluth pair to force overtime.  A few days earlier he scored 25 points, including 18 in the second half, as Lynn English upset Central Catholic

•  Rene Castro, Milton, the frosh scored 12 of his 23 points in the last 3 minutes including the game winner with under 10 seconds in the division II semi’s
•  Kyle Stockmal, Watertown, 20 2nd half point and 14 in 4th quarter in D3 semi’s
•  Ryan Chambers, Abington, 33 points (25 in 2nd half) in section final win over Scituate
•  Andre King, Sabis, 23 points in western sectional finals win
•  Mike Clifford, Bishop Fenwick, 25 points & 18 rebounds in sectional finals
•  Marcus McDermott, Milton, 24 points in section final upset of Catholic Memorial
•  Jarel Njiiri, Springfield Central, 13 points & 13 rebounds in section finals win
•  Jahsohn Ward, Sci-Tech, 28 points in section semi-final win
•  Charles Jackson, Turners Falls, 34 points in sectional semi-finals
•  Carson Desrosiers, Central Catholic, 11 points, 12 blocks, 13 rebounds over Everett
•  Hanell Velez, Woburn, 35 points in sectional semi-final and 33 in final to become school’s all time leading scorer

Connecticut

Player of the Week – Anthony Ireland, Crosby High School
The senior point guard thrived in his individual match-up with Boston College bound Danny Lawhorn as Ireland scored 33 points while handing out 8 assists to lead his team to a 86-70 win. 

•  Trevor Bundy, Norwich Free Academy, 23 points & 12 rebounds in win over Hamden
•  Jakarri McCallop, East Hartford, 24 points & 16 rebounds in 58-46 win over West Haven
•  Andrew Victoria, Bridgeport Central, 13 points, 11 rebounds, 10 blocks in 79-47 win over Manchester
•  Brandon Sherrod, Stratford, 14 points & 20 rebounds in win over Harding
•  Tobin Carberry, Hamden, 29 points in 50-38 win over East Catholic
•  Cody Otto, Glastonbury, 15 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds, 8 steals in 68-53 win over New Milford
•  Andre Drummond, Capitol, 33 points to send team to quarter-finals
•  Ronnie Underwood, Kolbe Cathedral, 33 points in 81-54 win over Windsor Locks
•  Jordan Williams, Torrington, 36 points in opening round victory over Kennedy
