The New England Skills Academies are designed specifically for serious high school players hoping to take their game to the next level.  Whether you are a graduating senior preparing for your first college season or a rising underclassmen hoping to attract the attention of college coaches, this program will help you develop the skills to reach your goals.

New England Skills Academies are not your typical camp or clinic.  They are very intense group training sessions that are aimed at providing players with premier instruction and skill development in a rigorous working atmosphere to ensure maximum retention.

We don’t play games.  We don’t go half speed.  We drill all aspects of offensive and defensive skill development at game speed so that players can then go back to their respective teams and apply what they’ve learned.

What Sets New England Skills Academies Apart?

Coaching:  Instructors at the Skills Academy are highly qualified and experienced coaches, who often times have a background coaching the game at the college level.  Simply put, we won’t run an Academy unless we have an exceptional coach to lead the instruction.

Curriculum:  All Academies follow the same building block approach by which we will teach individual skills first and foremost and then progress towards team based skills and concepts with two-man game, three-man game, and four-man game action.

Competition:  Although 5 on 5 games are not a part of the Academies’ curriculum, some of our drill work is done in a competitive style in order to simulate game conditions.  Because enrollment is limited to a small number, often no more than 20 players per location, and because all players are hopeful college prospects, there is a correlating high level of competition that forces each player to be at their best.  Additionally, drill work can also be done at a very quick pace to further simulate game conditions and guarantee maximum repetitions.

Evaluation:  The New England Recruiting Report will consistently visit each of the Academies throughout the duration of their program.  At the conclusion of the program, each player will receive a detailed written scouting report about their game including what they need to work on to reach the next level.

Education:  Each Academy will also include a one time informational session on the NCAA Clearinghouse so that players and parents both know exactly what it takes academically to make themselves eligible for an athletic scholarship.
